Machine’s “Essential’s Drive” Benefiting Sarah’s Inn

A big thank you to the Midwest Machine players who participated in the “Essential’s Drive” benefiting Sarah’s Inn.  The girls with the Organization were able to donate two SUV’s full of supplies to Sarah’s Inn to help its clients through the holiday season and the cold, winter months.  Thank you to all of the neighbors and families who made this Essentials Drive such a success!

14U Hoffman Goes Undefeated in MP 16U Fall League

The Midwest Machine 14U Hoffman team ended up undefeated in the Melrose Park Fall League to win it all in the 16U division. With Blazers at 2nd & 3rd, 2 outs in the FINAL, #5 Sam Washkevich made a high light reel catch to shift momentum in the direction of the Midwest Machine. #5 Sam W playing SS made a phenomenal catch running backwards over her right shoulder to rob the Blazers of a single that was ticketed for left field and 2RBI. The Machine rallied from a three run deficit to walk off in the 5th beating the Blazers 12-4.

A BIG Thank You to Terry Serpico for running a terrific fall league with playoff games at the Dome at the Ball Park @ The Dome in Rosemont.

Midwest Machine 03 – 14U PGF Battle of the Borders Champions!

Midwest Machine 03 went 5-0 in 14U bracket play at the PGF Showcase “Battle of the Borders” on June 15-17, 2018.  It was quite the Father’s Day run for the softball dads in the crowd. For the 5 games, offense was aplenty as the team outscored the competition 51-10 and the defense was solid with only a single error committed. Great showing to take the 14U championship from the 20 team field featuring teams from Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
